Rick Sang, the Director of Ray Guy Prokicker.com Kicking Camps, is a veteran with over 40 years of experience in establishing kicking instructional programs at colleges and universities nationwide. He was instrumental in initiating and directing the first college football kicking camps at prestigious institutions such as Eastern Kentucky, Arizona State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Middle Tennessee State, and Maryville College. Alongside NFL Legend Ray Guy, who is a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and was named to the NFL 100 All-Time Team roster, Rick co-authored the book FOOTBALL KICKING AND PUNTING. Together, they were also featured in an NFL Films episode that showcased their National Kicking Camps.
As a former college player and assistant coach for the legendary College Hall of Fame Coach Roy Kidd, Rick's credentials include being a member of the Eastern Kentucky University NCAA Division 1AA National Championship football teams (1979 Punter/Receiver, 1982 Kicking Coach). He also contributed to the success of College Hall of Fame Coach John Cooper as the Tight Ends/Kicking Coach during Arizona State's championship seasons in 1986-87, which included the PAC-10, Rose Bowl, and Freedom Bowl titles.
Currently, Coach Sang travels across the country providing kickers and punters with private lessons and instruction through his camps. He also visits high schools in Ohio to conduct PRIVATE 'SNAP - TO - KICK' CLINICS, which prepare Kickers, Punters, Snappers, and Holders for the upcoming season while simultaneously training football coaches on effective coaching techniques.
